Finding a blue M&M when I thought the bag of trail mix was empty
Having Mom sit up in a chair today.
Getting a pillow and blanket from a kind lady so I could lay on the couch in the family lounge.
The peanut butter cookies in the cafeteria.
Having Mom actually able to nap and rest most of the day
Coming home and making dinner for Sam and I
With enough to feed Mark and Kent
A kind and caring surgeon who understands
And tells me that things should get better
