Is it Possible

that wearing a pair of sensible work shoes actually improves productivity? I'm going to try it again today-- although I have already accomplished quite a bit here at home--barefoot and in pjs.Yesterday, I dressed to work in the garden: t-shirt, yoga pants and a pair of brown shoes I dug out of the bottom of the hall closet. They felt a little tight--probably because my feet are totally flattened out from wearing sandals.

I did not accomplish my goal of cleaning out my inbox by noon. Not even close. I must have been on a bit of a caffeine high when I wrote that.

Some of it was easy

Some of it was more difficult

But at 5:45 PM it was DONE!

I do believe it was the shoes

Today is the Day

I'm going to do it.
And to make it even more interesting, I'm going to do it by noon.
I can't stand it any longer.

I tried to upload a video of the duck. But it doesn't work. And I'm too tired to figure out what is wrong. It's been a VERY long day. So I'm going to show you what we had for dinner and call it good.

30 Days In June

Inexplicably I have challenged myself to blog every day for the next 30 days. I'm not sure I've ever done anything for 30 days in a row.
Except maybe, eat.
The past 30 days have been a challenge. I miss Mom so much. It seems everything I do reminds me of her.
But I've been doing some new things.
I made two pies in one day.
Tonight I used the trimmer. Sam told me the secret:
You have to know how to swear.
It worked. My hands are still tingling but I am proud of myself.
For stepping outside my comfort zone.
